I bet other travelers mistaken you for Chinese all the time. It's time to make this clear once and for all. Buy the t-shirts and wear them when you are traveling. It doesn't just bring the message across from the get go, it can also be a great conversation starter with other travelers. Now that people know you are not Chinese, the t-shirt will left them wonder where you actually came from.
Not an Asian? Buy this anyway! Imagine how hilarious it would be if you wore this shirt and you look nothing like Chinese. :)
"Once at Ayers Rock, Australia, I was traveling alone and I booked this camel ride tour to see the Uluru mountain during sunset. There was a group of Chinese people who were also going on the same tour. Since I was the only one traveling alone, I was situated at the back followed by this Chinese group and a couple of people in front.
During a photoshoot stop, I was asked to pose with the Chinese group. I didn't realize at first so I posed, and then the guide kept making me pose with the Chinese group. Turns out, the guide thought I was with them. I had to clarify this multiple times to several people during the tour. The best part was, I did a pretty stupid pose with the Chinese group. I bet they now have several pictures of me in their memories. :)"
